First Blog (from the beach)!!!

Debbie Macomber was in Charleston, South Carolina this week for a book signing of her new novel Summer on Blossom Street….and guess what? I was there too!

I was just gazing at a wonderful window display of her latest book in the yarn shop series thinking “I really should write her a note to thank her. Her books have inspired multitudes to pick up their needles and brush up on their knitting skills after years …and have introduced the unique world of a local yarn shop to her readers.”

Then…there she was! I composed myself, bought some books and we shared a chuckle over our passion for our craft. As I expected, she was a delightful and gracious lady and meeting her felt like a gift! Rainy days and Monday’s can bring you down…or they can hold a surprise just around the corner and that’s what makes life so interesting….kinda like working a pattern we aren’t sure really makes sense…we just keep on …trusting something good will happen. Often it does…if we aren’t too busy to see it.

Here’s the part you gonna love… I want to share my good fortune with you…
Cottage Knits will be open Monday, Memorial Day from 10AM-2PM and you will want to be sure to
enter for our drawing for an autographed copy of Debbie’s new book! Make a purchase between now and May 31st and your name will be entered in our drawing. Only one entry each day will qualify.
Good luck!

See you next week!
