Knit Socks!
This is the time to challenge yourself and move on to the next level of your knitting.  Socks are the perfect knit to carry with you ...after your first pair they just may become your "mindless knitting".  The yarns designed for socks just keeps getting better (sock knitters collect this amazing array of fibers and stash it everywhere) not to mention how toasty it will keep your toes!  Bet you can't knit just one pair!
Thursday PM Feb 25 [5:15-6:15], March 4 [5:15-8] and 11 [5:15-6:15]  $35

Felted Slippers
I had forgotten how much i love these slippers until a couple of weeks ago when i pulled them out of a drawer one night that i just couldn't get warm...and i've worn them every night since!  Really...not only is it a WONDERFUL way to learn to knit socks...you will want several pairs to get you through the rest of the winter...and to prove it...i'll teach you to knit them and will even felt them for you when your project is finished!
Weds PM  March 3 [5:30-7:30] , 10th [5:30-7]  $25

Earflap Hat
Julie has created a pattern that is simple to make, warm to wear and you are the creator ot this one...knit a funky hat...or something a little less daring than the shop model.  No matter what you choose, you will want to join in...after all, who doesn't need a hat? We don't call it a Power Spirit Hat without reason....bet ya can't knit just one! Come on!  It's cold outside!  We will even felt it during the second session~
Saturday March 6 and 13 Noon-1:30PM   $20

Square of the Month
It's something new this year...learn a new stitch each month...You bring your needles and we will supply your pattern and yarn.  You decide, knit a dishcloth, or store them up to stitch together next December for a sweet baby blanket or laprobe.  Make some friends and knit some squares with the direction of a variety of our talented instructors over the entire year.  Come one month or join us for all 12.  The 12th session is FREE for those who attend 11 sessions.

Knit a Modular Baby Blanket

 Knitted Ballerina Shrug
This pattern was designed by a former yarn shop owner and she tells me it was one of her best selling patterns to her Grandma's...with that, she had me at hello!  And she was right, it is darling....a great knit for a new knitter...and therefore a good fit for Cottage Knits!
One little workshop for one little shrug...We can adapt the sizes thru the weight of yarn you knit.  Let Sue coach you thru this one!
Wednesday  March 3  1-4PM  $25

Top Down Raglan Sweater
Ann Norling's pattern is time tested and gives you so many options.  You choose crew neck or v neck, cardigan or pullover...you pick your yarn and we will help you find the guage...and in just in time for Spring you will have a new sweater to add to your wardrobe.  Little finishing makes this a practically perfect pattern in my book!
Thursday  March 11 [6-8PM], 25 [6-7PM], April 1 [6-7PM] and 8 [6-7PM]  $40

Grandma Corn's Baby Sweater/Hooded Baby Cardigan
Now taking names for these projects...you have admired the little sweater that is a traditional gift in our family and the hoodie has become one of my favorites to knit. Both sweaters are knitted top down, with minimal finishing.   Your patterns will be provided with your yarn purchase.
We hope to begin Grandma's sweater group in early November on Friday afternoons and the baby hoodie group November/Saturday.
Call today and leave your name and phone # and you will be contacted with specifics.

While there is no fee for participation, it is important to know this is not a class. In other words, no instruction is planned. In any community knitting circle, there are those who will lend a helping hand to those with questions.
